Sri Umashakar Roadlines is located in New Tharagpet, right near the church building. If you are looking for us, the church is the best landmark because this area can get pretty confusing with all the small streets. We’ve been in the transport line for quite some time now. Our office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and some old ledgers. We spend most of our time on the phone tracking where the trucks are or talking to the drivers who are out on the road. New Tharagpet is always busy, especially in the mornings when everything is being loaded. There is always the smell of diesel and a lot of shouting between the loaders. We handle various types of goods, mostly whatever needs to get from one point to another. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go as planned, like a flat tire or a delay at a checkpost. That’s just the way it is in this business. We don't use any fancy software, just our experience and knowing the routes. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how the system works. It’s a tough job and the hours can be long, but it keeps us busy. We don't really do any advertising. Most of our work comes from people in the market who have known us for a long time. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town.
