Sri Tirupati Ply World

Our place is located at 90/91 in Weavers Colony. We are on 14th A Cross, near Sarakki Gate on Kanakpura Road. It’s a busy area and you can usually find us by the stacks of plywood near the entrance. We have been here for several years now. The air always smells a bit like sawdust and glue because of all the sheets we move around. We spend the day loading and unloading trucks that come in from the suppliers. It’s heavy work and our clothes usually get a bit dusty by the end of the shift. We have different types of wood and boards stacked up to the ceiling in the back. Customers come in looking for specific sizes and we have to dig through the stacks to find the right one. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold in the mornings. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the warehouse and a small desk where we do the billing. Most of our neighbors are also in the trade or living in the colony. It gets loud when the saws are running but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things organized so we don't lose track of the inventory. It’s a simple business of buying and selling wood. Sometimes the traffic on Kanakpura Road makes deliveries slow, but we just deal with it as it comes.
