Sri Srinivasa Stores

We are located at 604 Avenue Road, not too far from the Rice Memorial Church. Anyone who knows this road knows it’s one of the busiest places you can find in the city. Our store is right in the thick of it. We sell a bit of everything when it comes to stationery and books. The shop is narrow and deep, with shelves reaching all the way back. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we have a few old fans blowing to keep the air moving. We’ve been here for many years, watching the crowds go by. Students come here looking for cheap notebooks or pens, and we also supply some of the smaller offices nearby. The sidewalk outside is always blocked with people and carts, so getting into the store can be a bit of a squeeze. We try to keep things in order, but with so much stock, it’s a constant struggle. We use a lot of string to tie up bundles for customers. The church nearby is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here. Sometimes the neighbor's cat comes in to sleep on a stack of paper. It’s just a normal, old-fashioned store. We stay open until the street starts to clear out. It’s a tiring job.
