Sri Srinivasa Steel & Cement Co

Our yard is at number 14 in the Jay Khodiyar Estate, which is in Carmelaram. We are right across from the fire station, so it is a landmark people use to find us. Sri Srinivasa Steel & Cement Co is a place where things are always moving. Dealing with steel and cement means there is always a bit of dust around and the sound of trucks coming and going. It is heavy work, but we have been doing it for years. We are not a big corporation with fancy offices. Our space is practical, meant for storing materials and helping customers who are building their homes or fixing up a shop. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy in the yard, but we just deal with it and keep the bags of cement dry. We see a lot of contractors and regular homeowners who come in asking about prices and how much material they will need for a specific job. We try to give them a straight answer based on what we have in stock. There is no point in sounding like a salesman. If we have it, we will sell it to you at a fair price. We have grown to know many of the drivers and laborers who come through here every day. It is a community of people who build things. The days are long, starting early in the morning when the first truck arrives.
