Sri Siddeshwara Transport

Running a transport business out of Kammanahalli keeps us on our toes. Sri Siddeshwara Transport has been operating near Yerappanna Halli for some time. We’re located out by the Doddagubbi Post area. It’s not the middle of the city, which actually helps with moving the bigger vehicles in and out without getting stuck in too much traffic. We started with just one truck and slowly added another when there was enough work to justify it. It’s mostly local moving and hauling stuff for people in the nearby villages. My cousin handles the scheduling and I spend a lot of time on the phone or driving if one of the boys doesn't show up. Maintenance takes a lot of our time too. Trucks break down, tyres get worn out, that’s just part of the life. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. We just answer the phone when it rings and try to show up on time. Sometimes the roads out here get pretty bad after the rain, so that slows things down. We just do our best to get the load where it needs to go. It’s a simple living. Most of our customers are people we've known for years. They know where to find us if they have a job. We just stay focused on the work and keep the engines running.
