Sri Sai Furniture

You can find Sri Sai Furniture at 549 on the 6th Cross in Koramangala 1st Block. We’ve been here for a while, surrounded by wood shavings and the smell of polish. The shop isn't exactly a showroom like those big malls have, it’s more of a working space where stuff actually gets done. People come in looking for a new table or maybe a cupboard that fits a specific corner of their house. We have some pieces ready to go, but a lot of the time we’re just talking to people about what they need. Koramangala is always busy, so there’s a lot of foot traffic past our door. It gets a bit dusty inside with all the sanding going on, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team, just our hands and some tools. Sometimes a delivery takes a bit longer than we thought because traffic on the main road is a nightmare, but we try to get things moved as quick as we can. It’s just me and a few guys who know their way around a saw. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but people always seem to need a good chair or a sturdy bed. We just keep building things and hope they last a long time for whoever buys them. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing a piece of wood turn into something useful.
