Sri Sabari Oil Store

If you live around Rajajinagar 2nd Block, you might have seen Sri Sabari Oil Store. We are at number 606, right on Dr Rajkumar Road. The shop is full of large tins and containers of different types of oil. It has a specific smell that you get used to after a few minutes of being inside. We spend the day filling bottles for people who stop by after work. It’s a very simple shop with a counter and some shelves. We don't have any big displays or neon signs. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the counter. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful, so we’re always cleaning up spills with sawdust or a mop. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the traffic on Dr Rajkumar Road get heavier every year. People come here because they know where we are and what we have in stock. We don't do any delivery or anything like that, people just walk in with their own containers or buy what we have ready. It's a quiet way to spend the day, just measuring out liters and talking to the regulars. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of oil, and we just have to wait for the next supply to arrive. That’s just the way it goes. It’s an honest, small business in a busy part of town. We just keep the tins filled and wait for the next person to walk in.
