Sri Ramdas Motor Transport Ltd

Our office for Sri Ramdas Motor Transport Ltd is in Sultanpet, at units 4 and 5 in the Divya Lakshmi Tower. Sultanpet is a really old part of the city and it’s always packed with traders and people moving bundles of goods. It’s not the easiest place to drive a car into, so most people just walk or use two-wheelers. We’ve been here for quite some time, handling the transport side of things. Our office is usually full of logbooks, registers, and people coming in to drop off paperwork for their shipments. It’s a bit of a traditional setup—not many computers, just a lot of manual tracking of where the trucks are and what’s being moved. The Divya Lakshmi Tower is a well-known spot, which helps because the lanes around here can be very confusing. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers on their mobile phones, trying to figure out why they’re stuck or when they’ll reach the warehouse. It gets quite hectic in the afternoons when everyone is trying to finish their business for the day. There’s always a glass of tea on someone's desk and the sound of the market coming through the windows. We don't do much in the way of fancy talk; we just focus on getting the goods from one point to another without losing anything along the way. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy and the phones never stop.
