Sri Ram Convention Hall

You can find the Sri Ram Convention Hall tucked away in Kumara Park West. We are located right behind the Kumara Park Post Office and behind the SBM. The entrance is off Serpentine Road, post code 560020. It’s a bit of a quiet pocket in a busy area. The hall is a large space where we host all sorts of gatherings. It’s not a shiny new building, but it has plenty of room. We spend a lot of our time moving chairs around and making sure the lights work. It’s a lot of physical work to keep the place ready for whoever booked it next. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find us because they live nearby or they’ve been to an event here before. The building has its quirks, like the way the sound carries or how the fans hum. We just handle the day-to-day things like sweeping the floors and talking to the people who want to use the hall. Being near the post office means there is always a bit of foot traffic around. We’ve been on Serpentine Road for years. It’s just a local hall run by local people. We don't make big promises; we just provide the space and try to be helpful when people are setting up their decorations. It’s a simple business and we like being part of the Kumara Park community. It is a lot of work but we enjoy seeing the events happen.
