Sri Ragavendra Telecom

Sadar Patrappa Road is a place you have to see to understand, and Sri Ragavendra Telecom is right in the heart of it. Our shop is small, like most of the others on this street. It’s crowded with shelves from the floor to the ceiling. We have all sorts of mobile parts and accessories tucked away in drawers. It’s a bit of a maze back there behind the counter. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the walls are a bit stained from the smoke and dust of SP Road. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside, but we get used to it. We start our day early, pulling up the heavy metal shutter and dusting off the display cases. It’s a lot of work just keeping things organized because so much comes and goes every day. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. It’s just me and a couple of others handling whatever the customers bring in. Sometimes someone comes in for a simple battery, other times it’s something much more complicated. We just do the work as it comes. The tea man stops by around eleven, and that’s usually our favorite part of the morning. We sit on the stools and talk about the news for a few minutes before getting back to the phones. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us.
