Sri Maruthi Timbers

We are located at 33/36 in Kasturiba Nagar, specifically on 3rd A Main in the 8th Block. Our yard is usually full of different kinds of wood stacked up high. You can smell the sawdust as soon as you turn onto the street. It’s a basic operation where we spend our time measuring logs and cutting planks to size. People from the neighborhood come to us when they are building a house or fixing up some old furniture. We have been in Kasturiba Nagar for quite some time, so we know the local builders well. The yard can get a bit messy when we have a big delivery coming in or when the saws have been running all morning. We don’t have a fancy office or a marketing team, just some notebooks to keep track of orders and a lot of wood to move. It’s heavy work and can be quite tiring during the summer months. We handle teak, rosewood, and other local timbers depending on what’s available at the time. Sometimes the rain slows us down because we have to cover everything up quickly with tarps. We just try to provide what people need for their construction projects without any fuss. If you walk into the 8th Block, just look for the place with the stacks of timber outside. We’re usually around from morning until the sun goes down, just getting the wood ready for the next customer who walks in.
