Sri Manunataheswara Metals

We are located at number 26 on the 6th Cross of Magadi Road. It is right near the Bangalore City Railway Station, so you can imagine how noisy and busy it gets around here. Sri Manunataheswara Metals has been in this spot for years. We deal with all sorts of metals, and the shop is usually piled high with various rods and sheets. The trains going by and the traffic from the station mean there is never a quiet moment. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high, mostly because the metal gets hot to touch later on. Our space is a bit of a maze because we keep adding more stock whenever we find a good deal. Most of our customers are local builders or small contractors who need things in a hurry. We don't really have a set way of doing things, we just handle the work as it comes through the door. The floor is always covered in iron dust, and our hands are usually black by the end of the shift. We sit on old wooden stools when we have our lunch and watch the people rushing to catch their trains. It’s a hectic place to work, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of Magadi Road. We just keep the metal moving and try to stay out of the way of the buses.
