You can find Sri Manjunatha Mobile Zone over in Koramangala VI Bk 151/1. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with phone cases, chargers, and used handsets. Koramangala is a fast place, but our little corner is pretty relaxed. We spend most of the day fixing cracked screens or helping people figure out why their battery isn't charging. It’s fiddly work and you need good eyesight for those tiny screws. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights and uniforms. We’re just a local mobile shop. Sometimes the place is a mess with wires and tools everywhere, but that’s how we work best. We’ve been at 151/1 for some time now. People from the nearby blocks know they can drop their phone off and grab a tea while they wait. We don't use any fancy diagnostic machines, just experience and a few basic tools. The rent in Koramangala keeps going up, but we manage to stay put. It's a good community here. We see the same faces every week. We don't promise to fix everything in five minutes, because some things take time. We just do the best we can with what’s in front of us. It’s a decent way to spend the day, talking to people about their tech problems and trying to get them back online. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name Sri Manjunatha Mobile Zone on the glass. We're usually here until late evening if the work is still piled up.
