Sri Manjunatha Home Furniture

We have been here in Chikkalasandra for quite some time now, right near the Masala Hotel at 332A/2. It is a busy little spot, especially in the mornings when the breakfast crowd is around. We mostly deal with beds, cupboards, and chairs for homes around here. People come in looking for something sturdy that will last them a good while without breaking the bank. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with all the wood and finished pieces sitting around, but that is just how we work. It is usually just us making sure the joints are tight and the finish looks okay before someone takes it home. We do not have a big showroom with fancy lights or air conditioning. It is just a regular place where you can see what we are making with our own hands. If you live nearby, you probably passed us many times when going to get food at the hotel. We mostly use local materials that we know are good. Every piece is handled by hand, so nothing is exactly the same as the other one. It takes time to get things right, but we do not like to rush the process. Sometimes it gets very dusty with all the sawing going on, but that is just part of the job. Most of our neighbors know where we are if they need a new table or something fixed up. We just stay here doing our daily work and trying to keep up.
