Sri Manjunatha Condiments is right here at Rajpiragal Mansion on Dr Rajkumar road. If you're walking down Begur Road in Prakash Nagar, you'll see us. We start early. The smell of coffee is the first thing in the morning. We sell a lot of small snacks and packets of things people need for their kitchens. It's a small shop, mostly just shelves and the counter where we stand. Sometimes it gets crowded when the office people come by for a quick break. We don't have much room for sitting, so most people just stand and talk for a bit. My hands are usually busy packing up items or making change. The street outside is always noisy with traffic. We know most of the neighbors by name since they stop by daily. It’s a lot of lifting boxes and checking the dates on the snacks. The light in the back is a bit dim, but we know where everything is kept. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket or anything. Just a local spot for condiments and a quick bite. Prakash Nagar is a busy place to be. We keep the floor swept. It's a simple life running this place. We stay open until the sun goes down and then some. The glass jars on the shelf are always full of something good. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, so we wipe things down a lot.
