Sri Manjunatha Condiments

Sri Manjunatha Condiments is over in Konankunte, right on the Kanakapura Main Road at 21/8. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves. We’ve got all the usual things you’d expect—snacks, tea, and various bits and pieces that people need for their kitchens. The road outside is always busy with buses and trucks heading out of the city, so there’s a lot of dust and noise, but we just keep the shutters up and stay busy. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the first batch of tea ready for the people heading to work. It’s a local spot where people stop for a quick chat and a bite before moving on with their day. We don't have any polished staff or corporate uniforms; it’s just us in our regular clothes, handing out packets and making change. The space is a bit cramped sometimes when we get a delivery of new stock, and we have to shuffle things around to make room. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who live in the surrounding streets by name. It’s not a complicated way to live, just running a shop and being part of the Konankunte neighborhood as it grows and changes around us. We plan to keep doing this for as long as we can and we like it here just fine.
