Sri Laxmi Tent House & Sound Systems

This is Sri Laxmi Tent House and Sound Systems. We operate out of Nagarbhavi on the Whitefield Main Road at number 839/1080. It’s a pretty large space because all those metal poles and folded tents take up a huge amount of room. We have piles of colorful fabrics and heavy speakers stacked up in the back corners. Most of our work involves hauling this heavy equipment in our old truck to different sites for local functions. The gear gets a bit scratched up and worn out from being moved around so much, but everything works just fine. We have been doing this for a long time now. It’s physically hard work, especially during the monsoon when we have to dry out the wet tents for days on end. My nephews are the ones who do most of the heavy lifting and loading. We don't have a fancy office for meetings, just a small wooden desk near the entrance where I keep the handwritten ledger. People stop by when they have a wedding or a small prayer meet in the neighborhood. We try our best to get everything set up before the event starts, even though the traffic on the main road can be a total nightmare. Our sound systems are decent enough for a small party or a local announcement. We aren't doing big concerts, just regular community events. It’s a family business that keeps us tired but satisfied. The yard is always full of iron pipes and canvas.
