Sri Lakshmi Steel Suppliers is located on Lalbagh Road. We are on the 3rd Floor of the Hulkul building, which is near the Fast Food Office. It might seem a bit strange to have a steel business on the third floor, but this is where we handle all the orders and billing. The actual steel usually goes straight from the yards to the customers. We’ve been in this building for many years now. It’s a very busy part of the city. You can always hear the traffic from Lalbagh Road and smell the food from the places downstairs. Our office is quite simple. We have desks, some old filing cabinets, and phones that ring a lot. We deal with builders and people who are working on their own houses. They call us for prices on TMT bars or sheets. We just give them the rates and let them know when we can deliver. We aren't a big corporate entity. It’s just a small group of us working here. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and transport people. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and price lists. We focus on getting the details right so there are no mistakes with the orders. It’s just how we do things here. We are usually in the office by nine in the morning to start taking calls.
