Sri Lakshmi Fab-Tech

Down in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically in Sardar Patel Colony at number 559, is where we do all our work. Sri Lakshmi Fab-Tech is basically a big shed where we handle a lot of metal and fabrication. If you walk in, you’ll probably see sparks flying from a welder or hear the sound of a grinder. It’s hot in the summer and a bit drafty when it rains, but we don’t mind much. We’ve got a small table in the corner where we keep the drawings and some old coffee mugs. It’s an honest place. We don’t wear suits here; it’s mostly work clothes that get dirty within the first hour. Peenya is a huge place, and it’s easy to get lost, but we’ve been at this spot long enough that the local truck drivers know where we are. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a social media person. We just focus on the machines and getting the orders ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, and the sound of the shop is the only thing you can hear in the colony. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually have a small chat with the guys from the next shop over during the evening break. It feels like a community of makers who just want to get the day's tasks finished properly.
