We run Sri Lakshmi Caterers & Marriage Contractors out of Halasuru on Old Madras Road. You can find us at number 113/17-1. It’s a double kind of job because we handle both the food and the planning for weddings. Marriage contracting is a lot of work, especially when you have to coordinate different people and make sure everything is in place on the big day. We spend a lot of time on Old Madras Road, moving between different venues and our own base. The catering side keeps us in the kitchen for long stretches, especially during the wedding season when everyone seems to be getting married at once. We aren't a big, polished company with a lot of fancy brochures. We are just practical people who know how to manage a crowd and keep the buffet line moving. Halasuru is a busy area, and we’ve been part of the community here for quite a while. Sometimes things go wrong, like a tent pole breaking or a delivery being late, but we’ve seen it all and we know how to fix it on the fly. We don’t use any corporate talk. We just listen to what families want and try our best to make it happen. It’s a lot of pressure, but we’re used to it. We just keep working hard and hope the food is hot and the guests are happy.
