Sri Kumaran Transport

You can find us over at B-31 Yeshwantpur, right behind the Kantheerava Studio. Most people use the studio as a landmark because it’s easier than looking for our small gate. Sri Kumaran Transport has been running trucks out of this spot for years. It’s a busy area, especially with all the filming stuff going on nearby. Sometimes the traffic is a real nightmare, but we manage to get our vehicles out on time mostly. We handle all sorts of loads, mostly local shifting or moving goods for small shops in the market. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a lot of logbooks piled up. My cousin handles the scheduling while I look after the drivers and the maintenance. It’s a messy business, honestly. Grease on your hands most days and a lot of phone calls at five in the morning. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just call us because they saw our number on the back of a truck or someone told them we were reliable. The yard gets muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the tires and checking the engines. We just try to keep the trucks running and the customers happy enough to call us back next time they need to move something heavy. It’s hard work, and the fuel prices keep going up, but we’re still here doing what we do behind the studio day after day.
