Sri Kanteshwara Provision Store

Sri Kanteshwara Provision Store has been a part of the Old Thargupet neighborhood for quite some time now. You can find us over at D-1 Block in the MIDC 255 area, which is usually quite crowded with people moving goods around. We stock all the basic stuff you’d expect from a local provision shop, from rice and dals to different types of cooking oils and household items. The shelves are often a bit cramped because we try to fit in everything that the locals might need for their kitchens. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their shopping done before work. We know most of our regulars by name, and they know where to find what they need on our shelves. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and things get a bit messy, but we always manage to get everything sorted by the afternoon. We aren't trying to be one of those big supermarkets; we just want to make sure the people living and working around MIDC have a reliable place to pick up their daily essentials. The floor might be a bit worn down from all the foot traffic, but that’s just how it goes in a store that’s used as much as ours. We keep the doors open early and stay until the last few customers finish their errands for the day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep us going well enough.
