Sri Ganesh Stores

Sri Ganesh Stores is a small neighborhood shop in the 2nd Main of Domlur Layout in Bangalore. This area has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings and traffic, but our store stays pretty much the same. We are right there at address number one, serving the people who live in the houses nearby. We sell all the little things you might need suddenly, like a packet of salt, some batteries, or a bottle of dish soap. In the morning, you will see the joggers and the people taking their dogs for a walk stopping by for a quick bottle of water or a newspaper. We have a few milk crates stacked near the entrance and some jars of sweets on the counter that the local kids always look at. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for shelving. Bangalore weather is usually nice, so we keep the door wide open all day long. We know most of the people who come in, and we often spend a few minutes chatting about how much the city is growing. We do not have any big ambitions to be a supermarket; we are just happy being the local store where you can get what you need without any fuss. It is a simple life and we like being part of the community.
