About Sri Ganesh Rice Shop – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
We've been here in Jayanagar 9th Block at Magar Patta 1833 for quite a while now. The shop is mostly just stacks of rice bags, different kinds like sona masuri or basmati, depending on what the truck brings in. Most mornings start early, sweeping the front and getting the scales ready for the first few people who stop by before work. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone comes to pick up their monthly supplies. We spend a lot of time just moving bags around and making sure everything is dry. The building 1833 isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where people know they can find us. Some days are busier than others, especially when the new stock arrives and we have to unload everything manually. We try to keep the different varieties sorted so it's easy to find what someone asks for. It's dusty work, honestly. Dealing with grain all day means there's always a bit of a mess to clean up. We know most of the faces around this part of Jayanagar by now. If you're walking down Magar Patta, you'll see the sign for Sri Ganesh Rice Shop. It's just a straightforward place doing what we've always done. No big frills here, just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of the inventory. Sometimes the weather makes it tricky to keep everything perfect, but we manage. That’s pretty much how things go here every day. It's just us and the rice.
