It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of trucks passing through. We supply basic building materials like steel rods and bags of cement. The yard is usually full of supplies stacked up. It’s not a pretty place, but it’s functional for what we do. We spend most of our time loading and unloading or talking to contractors who come by. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and the dust from the cement is just part of the job. We have a small office near the front where we keep the records. It’s just a simple room with a desk and a couple of chairs. We’ve been here for years and have seen the road get much busier over time. We don't have a website or do any online ads. Word of mouth is how we get most of our customers. Folks know we are here by the school and stop in when they’re building something nearby. We try to be fair and just get the materials where they need to go. It’s a tough business sometimes with the prices changing and the physical work, but we’re used to it. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure folks get their supplies to finish their work.
