Sri Durga Steel Enterprises

We run our steel business out of Bommanahalli 11. It is a pretty straightforward operation where we deal with different kinds of steel products all day. The yard is usually quite busy with trucks coming in to drop off supplies or customers picking up what they need for their own building projects. It is a bit of a dusty environment, which is expected when you are moving metal around constantly. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything polished. It’s mostly just stacks of material and the tools we use to move them. Our office is just a small corner where we keep the ledgers and handle the bills. Most of the people we work with are local contractors or people doing repairs on their houses nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors know us well. The sun gets quite hot out in the yard during the middle of the day, so we try to get the heavy loading done early if we can. It’s hard work and your hands are always dirty by the time evening comes around. We don't use any big marketing talk because the steel speaks for itself. People just come here because they know we have what they need and we are easy to find. It is a plain, practical business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready.
