Sri Devi Roadlines

Sri Devi Roadlines is situated at A20 in the Devaraj URS Truck Terminal in Yeshwantpur. We are right opposite the Kanteerava Studio, which is a big landmark in this area. Being in a truck terminal means it is always noisy, with engines idling and big lorries moving in and out at all hours of the day and night. Our office is more like a small cabin where we handle all the load manifests and talk to the drivers. It’s a very practical environment, with plenty of paper and the smell of diesel in the air. We don’t have a lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the desk. Yeshwantpur is a major hub for transport, so there is always a lot of pressure to get things moving on time. We spend our days coordinating where the trucks need to go and making sure the goods are loaded properly. It’s not a clean or quiet job, and the hours can be quite long. We’ve been part of this terminal for a while now, and we know most of the regulars. People come to us when they have a lot of stuff to move across the state or further. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. We just focus on the trucks and the cargo, making sure the business keeps ticking over every day.
