Sri Dev Telecom

Our shop, Sri Dev Telecom, is located at number 141 on Makarand Desai Road in Kodigehalli. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’ve been here long enough to see a lot of shops come and go. We mostly deal with phone recharges, new connections, and some basic mobile hardware. It’s the kind of place where people stop in because they’ve run out of talk time or their internet has stopped working. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing in numbers. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary for the neighborhood. The shop itself is quite small, so it can get a bit cramped if more than three people are inside at once. We have a few benches outside where people sometimes wait. We also sell some basic handsets, the kind that are sturdy and last a long time. We aren't really interested in the high-end stuff that costs a fortune. We focus more on what the local people actually need and use every day. Makarand Desai Road can get pretty loud with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We know most of the families around Kodigehalli by now. It’s a community thing as much as it is a business. We open up early and stay till late most evenings because that’s when people are heading home and realize they need something for their phones. Just a regular local shop.
