Sri Chandu Rice Traders

Our business, Sri Chandu Rice Traders, is located right on the Srirampuram 132 Ring Road at number 98 / 1. It’s a busy stretch of road and we have trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day. We mostly deal with large sacks of rice that come in from the different districts. The shop itself is mostly filled with tall stacks of bags, so there isn’t much room to walk around once a new shipment arrives. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around us. You can usually find me or one of the boys sitting near the front desk dealing with the paperwork or talking to the drivers. It gets quite dusty with all the grain moving around, so we spend a lot of time sweeping up. We aren't a big corporation, just a local trading outfit making sure the shops around here get what they need. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to unload the trucks without the bags getting damp, so we have to move fast when the clouds turn grey. The Ring Road traffic can be a real pain during peak hours, making it tough for our deliveries to get out on time. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple life of buying and selling rice, nothing more to it than that.
