Sri Balaji Stores

Sri Balaji Stores is located at 254 Kamaraja Road Elphistone Station Road. It’s a busy corner where two main roads meet, so there is never a quiet moment here. We have all sorts of things packed into the shelves at number 254. It’s a lot of work keeping everything in order because the space is tight. We spend our mornings checking the stock and seeing what we need to get more of. Elphistone Station Road is always full of people rushing to catch their trains, and some of them pop in for a quick item before they go. We’ve been here at this address for years, and the building shows its age a little. The ceiling has a couple of spots that need fixing, and the wooden counters are worn down from all the years of service. We don't have any fancy marketing plans or big slogans. We just open the doors, sweep the front step, and help the people who come in. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when too many people are in the shop at once, but we manage to get everyone sorted out eventually. It’s a simple business, run by real people who just want to do a decent job every day. You can find us right there at the intersection, under the old sign that’s been there forever. We just keep going until the evening when we close up.
