Sri Annapoorneshwari Modern Furniture

Our shop is at 13 Jaraganahalli, right on the Kanakapura Main Road. It’s easy to spot if you’re driving toward the outskirts. We’ve got a lot of furniture packed into the space. It’s not a fancy showroom like the ones in the malls. There is sawdust on the floor sometimes because we do some of the finishing work right here. Sri Annapoorneshwari Modern Furniture is what the sign says, though most people just call us the furniture shop near the junction. We have beds, tables, and chairs mostly. Some are made of wood, some are different materials. We don't have a big sales team. It's usually just me or my brother around to answer questions. If we are in the back working, you might have to shout a bit to get our attention. The Kanakapura road is always busy with trucks and cars, so it’s quite noisy during the day. We’ve been at this Jaraganahalli location for a long time. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool inside even when it’s hot outside. We don’t really do catalogs. People just walk in, look at what we have, and decide. If they want something moved, we find a tempo for them. It’s a simple way to run things. We keep the doors open from morning until late evening. It’s hard work moving the heavy pieces, but we are used to it by now.
