Sri Ambe Telecom

Sri Ambe Telecom is situated at number 10 on the 80 Feet Road in Gandhi Nagar, specifically in the Chandra Layout section. Being on a main road like this means there is a constant stream of traffic and noise outside. We are a small shop that handles a lot of different things related to phones and communication. The counter is always covered in small screws, screen protectors, and various tools. It’s a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is. People are always coming in with cracked screens or phones that won't turn on. We spend a lot of time under a bright desk lamp with magnifying glasses. It’s quiet work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes we can fix something in ten minutes, and other times it takes all day to figure out what’s wrong. We have a few chairs for people to wait, but most people just leave their devices and come back later. The air conditioner works when it wants to, so we usually have the door propped open. We see all kinds of people throughout the day. It’s interesting to see how much everyone relies on their gadgets now. We just try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s a lost cause. When the sun goes down, the street lights come on and the road gets even busier. We stay open a bit late for the people coming home from work.
