If you come to 85 New Tharagpet, you will find our transport office on the second floor. We are right in the middle of Sindhi Main Bazar, which stays very crowded throughout the day. You have to walk up a narrow set of stairs to reach us, and doing that several times a day is a bit tiring. Downstairs, the bazar is always packed with people and small carts trying to get through the traffic. Up here in the office, it's a little more peaceful, but you can still hear all the honking and noise from the street below. We manage the logistics of moving goods for our different clients. Most of our time is spent on the phone or talking to loaders about the daily schedules. The office is very simple, with just a few desks and stacks of paper ledgers. We don't use computers for everything because we still like to have our records written down by hand in the books. It is a tight space, and we often have to move things around just to let a visitor sit down. My cousin and I handle the daily work, and we've been in this bazar for many years. We know the area well and understand how the local traffic patterns affect our timing. It is just a straightforward job of managing transport and paperwork while keeping an eye on the busy market below.
