Down at BVK Iyengar Road, it is always hectic, and our little corner at 1st Cross in Srinivasa Layout is no different. We are at Shop No 10. You can usually see our place from a distance because we have plastic buckets and tubs stacked up outside. It's the best way to show what we have since the shop itself is pretty narrow. We have been here at this location for years, dealing with all sorts of plastic goods. The floor is concrete and a bit uneven, but it holds up under the heavy crates. Dealing with the suppliers on the 1st Cross can be a bit of a headache sometimes with the narrow lanes and the carts blocking the way. We spend a lot of time moving inventory around to make sure the customers can actually walk into the shop. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there is usually someone around to help out. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people need plastic stuff for their homes and they know where BVK Iyengar Road is. The shop gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fan on high. It is just a basic business selling basic things to regular people. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just sell plastics and try to keep the inventory moving.
