At Sree Padmini Silk World, we are located at 210-C, Link Road in Malleswaram. This part of Bangalore has a lot of history, and we feel right at home here. Our shop is dedicated to silks, and you will find piles of them everywhere you look. We have been on Link Road for years, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The shop itself is quite traditional. We don't have fancy lights or a modern layout. Instead, we have solid wooden shelves and benches where customers can sit while we pull out different sarees or fabric pieces for them to look at. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We spend a lot of time folding and refolding the silk so it stays neat. Dealing with silk requires a bit of care, and we try to be careful with every piece we handle. The traffic on Link Road can be quite something, especially on the weekends, but we just keep the door open and wait for people to wander in. We are just a local business trying to make a living by selling quality silk to the people in the area. We don't put on any airs or graces. If you come by, you will likely see us chatting with a neighbor or tidying up the latest shipment that just arrived. It is just our way of running things in the middle of Malleswaram.
