Running a transport business like Sree Manjunatha Transport means we spend a lot of time thinking about roads and timing. We are situated on the Hoskote Kanakapura Main Road, specifically near the Konanakunte Cross. It is a busy junction. Having the Nilegiri Wigh Bridge nearby is quite handy for the kind of work we do. There is always a lot of movement around here, trucks coming and going at all times of the day and night. The road can be a real headache sometimes with the construction and the traffic jams, but we manage. Our office isn't much to look at, just a place where we keep the papers and take phone calls. It’s mostly about the vehicles and making sure they are where they need to be. We’ve been around this area long enough to know all the shortcuts and the trouble spots. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when things don't go according to plan. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find us because they see our name on the road or they know someone who used us before. We just try to get the loads moved without too much fuss. It is a practical business for a practical part of town. The dust and the diesel smell are just part of the daily life here on the main road near the cross.
