Our shop is mostly filled with big sacks of different varieties of rice. It’s a dusty place because of all the grain, but that’s how it is. We’ve been working out of this spot in Bangalore 560003 for a long time. We don't have any fancy displays or a clean office. It’s just a warehouse style shop where we move bags all day. It’s hard physical work, but we are used to it. The traffic on Pipeline Road can be very bad sometimes, making it hard for delivery trucks to get in. We serve local families and some small hotels that need bulk rice. We don’t do any marketing or use any big slogans. We just sell the rice we have in stock. My hands are usually dry from handling the bags all day. It’s a very straightforward business with no frills. We open early to get the stock ready for the day. Malleswaram is a good area with lots of people, so we stay busy enough. We aren't a big corporation, just a small trading shop trying to get through the daily tasks. We’ve been at this address for years and plan to stay as long as we can keep moving the sacks. It is honest work and that is enough for us.
