The corner of 10th Cross and 5th Main is always busy with traffic and people walking to nearby offices or homes. Our store has been a part of this landscape for a long time. It is a straightforward shop where the aisles are packed with goods. We spend a lot of our time just trying to find more space for everything we have to stock. The floor is made of simple tiles that we have to scrub often because of all the foot traffic. In the afternoons, the sun shines directly into the front of the shop, which can make it quite warm inside. We have a few old fans that help a bit. Most of our work involves unloading deliveries and making sure the shelves don't stay empty for too long. We don't have any bright neon signs or modern decorations. It is just a regular store where we do the same chores every day. The neighborhood has changed a lot around us, with new buildings going up, but we just keep doing what we have always done at our spot in Indiranagar.
