Sree Ambal Furniture

We have been running this furniture place here at 39 Mahadevapura 18th Cross for a good while now. It is right on 6th Main, so people usually find us easily if they are looking for a new cot or a cupboard for their bedroom. The shop is not huge, but we manage to keep a lot of stuff inside. Sometimes the wood shavings get everywhere when we are fixing something, but that is just part of the job. Most days start around ten in the morning when we open the shutters. We spend a lot of time talking to folks from the neighborhood who want a custom shelf or just need a chair repaired. It is mostly just us working here, trying to get orders finished on time. The traffic on 18th cross can get a bit loud in the evenings, but we are used to it by now. We do not do much fancy advertising or anything like that. People just see the sign and walk in. We have some ready-made sets, but a lot of people prefer to ask for specific sizes to fit their small rooms. We use local wood mostly. It’s hard work moving the heavy sofas around, especially when it rains and we have to keep everything dry. If you are around Mahadevapura, you might have seen our shop near the corner. We just try to do decent work so people come back when they need something else for their home. It keeps us busy.
