Sr Site Engineer

Our place is located at 83/B on the 6th Cross in Chandra Layout. It’s part of Basaveshwar Badavane in Bangalore. Being a site engineer means I’m usually out on the field, but this is where the main office is. It is a pretty good spot in the city. The traffic in Bangalore can be a nightmare sometimes. But once you get to the 6th Cross, it’s a bit calmer. The office is where we keep all the site maps and tools. It is not a very big space. We have some shelves for files and a few chairs for visitors. We deal with construction and site management issues mostly. It’s hands-on work. We don't spend much time on computers unless we have to. Most of the day is spent checking on progress and talking to the crew. People know us in this part of Chandra Layout. We have been here for a while. The building is easy to spot once you're on the right street. We don't have a receptionist. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up to see who it is. It's a very simple way of working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want the sites to run smoothly. That is what matters most to us at the end of the day. It can be exhausting work, especially with the Bangalore weather, but it's what we know. We just focus on the building projects we have in hand right now.
