Am An Geo Consultant

Our place is on 3rd Cross in Rv Nagar, right near the R V College. It is a quiet enough spot, though the students make it a bit lively during the day. We are geo consultants, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at land and soil reports. It isn't a big office. It is just a few rooms with our equipment and some old maps on the walls. We have been here for a good while now. My cousin usually comes in to help with the admin stuff in the mornings. We don't have fancy brochures or a sales team. People usually just find us by word of mouth or if they are building something nearby. Sometimes the paperwork for the government offices takes forever, but we just keep at it. We usually have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be finished. The weather in Bangalore is good for our field work most of the time, except when the monsoon hits. Then we stay inside and focus on the data. It is a simple life and we like the neighborhood. There are more houses now than when we started. We just do our work and try to be helpful to the people who come to us. It is not a corporate setup, just a local business doing its part. We stay busy and that is enough for us.
