We started this shop over at R. K. Hegdenagar a while back. It’s mostly just us working with wood and helping people figure out what fits in their homes. You can find us at No. 504 near the S. R. K. Nagar Post. The workshop gets pretty dusty sometimes but that is just how it goes when you are building sofas and cupboards from scratch. People come in looking for a table or maybe some cabinets for the kitchen. We talk about what kind of wood they like and what will last. Most of our days are spent measuring things and cutting wood. Sometimes we have a lot of finished pieces on the floor, and other times it is empty because everything just went out for delivery. It’s a busy spot. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just the workspace where the actual making happens. It gets loud with the saws running and the smell of sawdust is always in the air. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a bed frame, we show them what we can do. It’s a local business and we know the neighborhood well. Most people around here just stop by when they are passing the post office. We have been in this same spot for a bit now. Sometimes we run late on a project because the varnish takes too long to dry when it's raining outside. That is just part of the job here. We handle the heavy lifting and the assembly ourselves usually. It's a lot of work but it keeps us going. We like seeing a finished piece of furniture go out the door to a neighbor’s house.
