Yk Furnitures

You can find Yk Furnitures at No. 75/2 right near the Hulimavu Gate on Bannerghatta Main Road. It’s a busy spot. The road is always full of buses and cars going towards the city or out towards the parks. We have a lot of wood and half-finished pieces sitting around the shop. The dust from the road and the sawdust from our saws kind of mix together. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest. We don’t have a fancy display window. Most of our things are stacked up where we have room. The building is just a basic structure that keeps the rain off the furniture. We’ve been at this location for a long time. People know the Hulimavu Gate area well, so it’s easy to tell them where to go. Sometimes it gets so loud from the traffic that we have to shout to hear each other. We don't mind it much anymore. We just keep working on the tables and chairs. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t have a marketing team or anything. If a piece of furniture looks good, people buy it. That’s the whole business. Bannerghatta Main Road is never quiet, not even late at night. We usually close up when it gets dark and the street lights come on. It’s just a regular furniture shop on a busy road.
