You'll find us down at 33/36 New Timber Layout, right off the busy Mysore Road. We operate as Sri Maruthi Timbers & Wood Works along with Sri Harish Timbers. It’s a lot of wood and a lot of work every single day. The layout is full of businesses like ours, so the whole area is always humming with the sound of saws and trucks. We’ve been here long enough that the dust doesn't even bother us anymore. Our setup isn't anything special to look at, just a big space filled with different types of timber and some heavy machinery. We spend most of our time moving logs and boards around. It’s a physical job and it keeps us on our toes. We don't really have time for polished meetings or fancy brochures. We’re usually too busy actually working with the wood. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because we have to cover everything up quickly, but that’s just life in a timber yard. We’re just a group of people who know wood and work hard at it. People come by Mysore Road and stop in because they know we’ve been here for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable spot in the layout. We open early and stay late most days, just getting through the orders as they come in. It’s a basic way of living, but it works for us and our families.
