Space One The Furniture People

We are tucked away at 105 New Timberyard Layout on the 1st Main. Being near the New Timber Yard Layout makes sense for us since we work with wood and furniture all day. It’s a dusty job sometimes, but seeing a piece of furniture come together is nice. Space One The Furniture People is just a small group of us who like making things that people can actually use in their homes. We don't have a massive showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens right here in the back. You can usually hear the saws going or the sound of someone sanding down a table. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, and the neighbors know us. We don't go for those high-end sales pitches you see in malls. We just talk to people about what kind of chair or cabinet they need and try to build it. Sometimes wood has knots or marks, but that’s just part of it. We like that natural look anyway. It feels more real. If you’re looking for us, look for the pile of sawdust and the smell of fresh timber. It’s a practical business. We enjoy the smell of the workshop in the morning. It’s good work for people who like using their hands. We don't overcomplicate things. We just build furniture that stays together and looks okay in a room. That's about it. We just let the wood do the talking.
