Southfield Paints Limited has been around the Mysore Road area for a long time. Our setup is over in Ragava Nagar, specifically on 2nd Cross. It’s a bit of a tricky spot to find if you aren’t looking for Lakkayya or the ESI landmark nearby. Sudhakar and Gururaj handle most of the heavy lifting here. We deal with paints, which is a messy and colorful business as you can imagine. There’s always the smell of thinners or fresh batches in the air. We aren't some high-end design studio; it’s more of a practical place where we mix stuff and get orders ready for customers. The floors usually have a few stray drops of different colors on them. We’ve been working out of this part of Bangalore for years and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. Traffic on Mysore Road is always a mess, so we try to get our deliveries out early. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make and sell paint. Whether it's for a small house or a bigger project, we just provide the cans of paint people need. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. The office is small, mostly filled with ledger books and sample cards. We know our regulars by name and they know where to find us. It’s just a local paint business trying to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved in the process.
