Southern Steels & Forging

We are located right at 108C in the HRBR Layout, just west of Chord Road. It is easy to find if you know where the TVS Cross is. Around here, things stay pretty busy with all the metal work going on. The workshop isn't fancy at all, just a place where we get the forging and steel work done every day. There is usually a lot of noise from the machines and the smell of hot metal is always in the air. We started this place because we knew how to work with steel and it just grew from there. Most of our days are spent checking orders or making sure the hammers and furnaces are running right. It gets quite warm inside, especially in the afternoons when everything is in full swing. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People usually just walk in from 4th Main Road and talk to whoever is near the front. Sometimes the floor is covered in scrap bits but that is just how it goes with this kind of work. We handle different types of forging jobs for local projects. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty within minutes of starting the shift. We just try to keep things moving and get the orders out of the door on time. If you pass by, you’ll probably see the trucks loading up near the entrance with heavy parts ready to be shipped out.
