People who come to Jaya Chamarajendra Road know how tight the space is. Our shop at 89/1 is right in the middle of all that chaos. We deal with steel and forging, which means it gets loud and dirty pretty fast. You can smell the grease as soon as you step inside. We have various steel stocks piled up, and moving them around takes a bit of effort. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal shavings and dust. It’s a small team here, and we’ve all been doing this for a long time. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. If you need something, you just come to the counter and talk to whoever isn't busy with a tool. The traffic on JC Road makes deliveries a nightmare, but we manage. Sometimes the forging takes longer than we thought because a machine needs oiling or the heat isn't just right. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the block, just a reliable one where you can get your steel work handled. It’s hard, honest work that leaves your hands black by the end of the day. We usually close up early on Saturdays to get some rest. There’s always another pile of metal waiting for us on Monday morning. It’s just the way we operate at Southern Steels & Forgines.
