We are tucked away in Whitefield at Gomes Wadi. The workshop is usually quite loud with the sound of grinders and cutters going through steel sheets. It gets pretty dusty here by the afternoon, especially when we have several fabrication jobs lined up. We handle a lot of stainless steel work, mostly custom bits that people need for their houses or small factories nearby. It is not a fancy place by any means. There are metal scraps in the corners and the smell of welding is always hanging in the air. Most days are spent measuring twice and cutting once, though sometimes things don't go exactly to plan and we have to start over. The guys here have been working with metal for a long time, so their hands are rough and they know the weight of a sheet just by looking at it. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk with a lot of papers and some old tools lying around. People come in from around the neighborhood asking if we can fix a gate or make a kitchen rack. It is straightforward work. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets a bit much during the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, making sure the welds are solid and the edges aren't too sharp for the customer to handle.
