We are located at 46, A & B in the Midc Industrial Estate, which is a pretty large area to navigate. Our facility handles steel and power related work, so it is a very industrial environment. There are always stacks of steel rods or plates sitting around waiting to be processed. The building is a large shed that echoes when the cranes are moving things from one side to the other. It isn't a quiet place by any means. We have shifts of workers coming and going, so there is usually someone here at all hours of the day. The office is just a small partitioned area near the main gate where we handle the delivery notes and the payroll. It is a bit functional and grey, but it serves the purpose. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty. The focus is always on the steel and making sure the power supply to the machinery stays steady, though we do have issues with that every now and then like everyone else in the estate. Lunchtime is the only quiet period when the guys sit outside under the shade of the few trees we have. We just keep our heads down and handle the heavy lifting that comes with working in the steel business. It is a straightforward operation and we like to keep the process as simple as possible.
